External Relations Team

The External Relations (ER) team focuses on expanding the network of CUTEC, within the UK and abroad: we aim to build strong contacts with other entrepreneurial societies, get entrepreneurially minded people to know about CUTEC and get us to know them! The ER team also focuses on building an alumni network, so that current and previous CUTEC members can benefit from a privileged platform for interaction with similarly minded people.

Ivan Mazour, Vice President

Ivan has recently returned to complete Part II of the Mathematics Tripos at the University of Cambridge, and also holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the Open University. At the beginning of the academic year, he was involved in the organisation of the Silicon Valley comes to Cambridge Hackathon event, and has since then moved on to head up the External Relations team – a role particularly suited to him as he enjoys meeting and learning from the many people who are connected with CUTEC. He is the founder of two businesses in the property sector, and has recently moved into the online startup industry by launching 42tasks.com – a team based productivity and delegation tool. During his time at CUTEC, he wants to create strong and lasting connections between the club and the many other organisations at academic institutions both in the UK and abroad, and he is also interested in taking on motivated and driven individuals for his existing ventures, or financing entrepreneurs who have fresh ideas with large-scale potential.
